Around the house, at work, or out and about, the MindMe Pro SM is the perfect welfare companion that places communication and assistance at the wearers fingertips.

It’s simple to use and the emergency procedure is a logical sequence of events. First, the SOS button raises an alert to emergency contacts automatically sending an alert with the wearers location and begins cycling through contacts, calling until answered. Then, once a call is answered, the wearer and respondent can communicate to provide assistance.

It’s specifically designed for the elderly, people with disabilities, people living with dementia, lone workers and those working in volatile environments. Helping to suit a variety of applications, the pendant is water resistant so the wearer can carry on with their everyday lives.

MindMe installs a pre-loaded SIM and programs the device so it is ready to be used straight out of the box.

The MindMe Pro SM SOS & GPS Personal Alarm combines a mobile phone, a digital screen with clock/date/battery level, a GPS device, and GPRS satellite technologies, to assist vulnerable individuals to seek assistance quickly in an emergency.

The MindMe Pro SM will give you the confidence to remain independent and stay in control, by keeping you in touch with family and carers whether you are at home or out and about 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

How is the MindMe Pro SM monitored?

The MindMe Pro SM is a self-monitoring device, giving you and your family & carers control of your safety. You are able to select up to 3 trusted emergency contacts (including ‘000’) to be contacted via voice call and SMS in an emergency. This means, that in an emergency you will be in touch with someone you know and trust to assist you.

How do I carry the MindMe Pro SM?

There are multiple ways you can wear the MindMe Pro SM including:

Around your neck with a lanyard (included purchase), a chain or leather necklace
On key chain attached to keys or clothing
Attached to your house/vehicle keys or children’s school bag

Does the MindMe Pro SM need to be near a base unit to work?

NO, the MindMe Pro SM does not require a base station to operate.

Will the MindMe Pro SM work outside my home?

YES, the MindMe Pro SM operates anywhere there is a mobile network connection, using the either Optus or Telstra 4G network.

Do I need to have the NBN, wireless internet or a landline phone to use the MindMe Pro SM?

NO, the MindMe Pro SM operates like to a mobile phone, only requiring you to have access to the mobile network.

Once I purchase the MindMe Pro SM, are there any ongoing monthly costs owed to MindMe?

NO, there are no ongoing payments to be made to MindMe Pty Ltd after your initial investment.

What MindMe Pro SM features can be turned on or off?

The MindMe Pro SM allows you to tailor the features to your specific requirements. The below list of features can be turned on or off at any time as required:

How often do I have to charge the MindMe Pro SM?

The MindMe Pro SM battery will last up to 24 - 48 hours. However, we recommend charging the MindMe Pro SM every night, this way the wearer will create a daily routine.

If the battery on the MindMe Pro SM falls below 15%, all emergency contacts will receive an SMS and/or a Mobile APP notification to advise the MindMe Pro SM needs to be placed on the charger

Can I take the MindMe Pro SM into the shower?

YES, the MindMe Pro SM has been specifically designed to be worn in the shower or if you are caught walking out in the rain.

Please note, the MindMe Pro SM cannot be submerged in a body of water i.e. the bath tub.

Do I need to use my own SIM card and a mobile account to use the MindMe Pro SM?

NO, you will NOT need to use your own SIM card or mobile account as we will install your 4G SIM card and setup your mobile account on your behalf. Please note: BYO SIM option is available.

Can I change the emergency contacts and other features on my MindMe Pro SM once they have been set?

YES, your emergency contacts can easily be changed at any time, using the mobile application.

How does the built in GPS feature work?

The MindMe Pro SM incorporates a GPS module and supports AGPS (Assisted GPS).

There are 30 GPS satellites orbiting the earth. Wherever you are located your GPS is visible to at least 4 satellites at any one time.The GPS device in your MindMe Pro SM is constantly listening for a signal from these satellites. The receiver in your MindMe Pro SM calculates how far away it is from the satellites.

Once the receiver calculates its distance from four or more satellites, it knows exactly where you are. Your location on the ground can be determined with incredible precision.The GPS in your MindMe Pro SM can usually determine where you are to within a few metres of your actual location.
